I’m fairly sure that my friends and blogmates have all but abandoned this blog. but that’s okay because i’ve kind of been neglecting it a lot as well. It is the 2nd last week in January and I have been 22 for 6 days. For real, it does feel a tiny bit different but that’s probably just my mindset.
My school was closed this morning so I couldn’t go and do my observation day. This is kind of a bummer because I had been looking forward to it! I very much want to observe kindergarten because I didn’t get to do that last term. maybe next week if I’m lucky! I’m going to use this extra time to be productive (ideally).
Born Ruffians are coming here in April, and playing in my favourite bar. how happy am I? very very very happy. It’s something exciting to look forward to just after the term ends. the timing is pretty perfect. It’ll be warmer then so my house won’t be an icebox at that time. I’ve been hoping for what feels like such a long time, for them to come to St. John’s – so i’m super super pumped
luke lalonde, be my husband?
school has started. this blog has all but been abandoned, as far as i can tell. i am anxious for this term to finish, although it has just started, for many reasons. firstly because within the first week i’ve managed to catch a head cold and the stomach flu 😦 being sick is so not fun at all. also because i miss my friends who are away. i am greedy and want to have all of my friends in the same city. not to mention the huge amount of school work i have already – which is difficult to concentrate on when i’m sick! but mainly i just want christmas, closeness, free time, baking and feelings of being stressfree!
Another term of school has come and gone. I always find the winter term harder than the autumn term and this year that has really been reflected in my marks, and maybe a little bit in my sanity. But that’s in the past and it’s onward looking forward, ahead into summer. new things, new people, new times, new fun, new love in any sense of the word. i’m pretty tired but i’m pretty excited. just two final exams and then it’s freedom for real
For one of my education courses, I had to create a webpage. It’s called a WebQuest. which is essentially an online, internet source based lesson plan that teachers can use to teach their students. They’re supposed to be fun and a newer way of learning for students. I did mine on Grade 4 Science, focusing on Geology. It’s not quite perfect because i just barely ran out of time. I don’t think that anyone will be interested in this besides myself, and maybe my Professor, but here it is anyway! Discover Geology!
